- Calliaghstown Riding Centre has produced many high-class horses and riders over the past 25 of years.
- Grainne Sugars, the owner and Chief Instructor at Calliaghstown rode Internationally for Ireland at the 3-day event European championships.
- Grainne acted as Chef d'Equip for both the Junior and Pony Irish 3 day event teams over a period of 15 years.
- As 3 day eventing/horse trials are a very important part of Grainne's life, she enjoys helping young (and older!) riders pursue their ambitions whether at pony club / riding club level or for International competition.
- Competition training is by prior arrangement
- Pony club B, A & H test training.
- Young Horses bred at Calliaghstown are produced professionally and trained for show jumping, dressage and cross-country
